The faculty encourages students on practical training to connect the academic side with the practical side. The second-year students are trained in the kitchen and warehouse sections. Third-year students are trained in front office section. The fourth-year students are trained in restaurants for two months in the summer.
The faculty also trains its students in the kitchen of the Student Activities Complex during the study period. Recently, a contract was signed with Comsys Software company to train students on the program ULTRA Management of hotels.
The graduate from Hotel Studies department is prepared to be competent to be hired for different jobs in hotels and resorts, including:
- Front Office Section.
- Department of Human Resources.
- Marketing & Sales.
- Restaurants.
The graduate of the Department of Hotel Studies is also qualified to work in administrative careers of all types, such as airports, private hospitals and food and beverage departments, fast food restaurants and public relations.
The department also prepares students to join graduate studies programs. The Department offers various scientific degrees starting from the bachelor's degree, master's degree and PhD in tourism and hotels and tourist guidance.
