وافق مجلس جامعة الاسكندرية خلال جلسته المنعقدة يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 26 يناير 2016، على تقديم برنامج البكالوريوس بنظام التعليم عن بعد لجميع الدول الأفريقية من خلال المركز الاقليمى للجامعة الأفريقية ( RUC ) بمشروع شبكة بان أفريكا ( PAP ) .
أكد مجلس جامعة الاسكندرية خلال جلسته المنعقدة يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 26 يناير 2016، برئاسة الدكتور رشدي زهران، رئيس الجامعة، على إعلان الجداول الدراسية للطلاب قبل بداية الفصل الدراسى الثانى فى 13 فبراير المقبل .
استقبل الأستاذ الدكتور رشدى زهران، رئيس جامعة الاسكندرية صباح اليوم الأربعاء الموافق 13 يناير 2016 السيد السفير حسام الدباس القنصل العام لدولة فلسطين بالاسكندرية بغرض تعزيز أواصر التعاون القائمة فى المجالات المختلفة وبحث سبل تفعيل فرص التبادل الأكاديمى .
وأعرب رئيس الجامعة خلال اللقاء عن عمق العلاقات التى تربط بين الشعبين المصرى والفلسطينى وأكد على أن الطلاب الفلسطينيين الدراسين بجامعة الاسكندرية يتم توفير كافة أنواع الرعاية لهم والتعامل مع مشاكلهم عند الحاجة .
كما أشاد السيد السفير بدور جامعة الاسكندرية وعراقتها وإسهاماتها منذ نشأتها فى تخريج المئات من الطلاب الفلسطينيين كما أشاد بالدعم المصرى الرسمى والشعبى للقضية الفلسطينية .
حضر اللقاء أ.د عصام الكردى نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة وأ.د هشام جبر نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون التعليم والطلاب .
