Introducing the courses that are studied in the hotel studies department

The student in the department of Hotel Studies will study the following:

  • Hotel basics : to recognize the importance of hotel activity as an integral part of the tourism industry
  • Hotel management: to know the types of hotels and different sections.
  • Accounting: includes administrative accounting and hotel cost accounting, and study the general budget and income lists for different sections.
  • Hotel Information Systems: and how to use and apply modern technology in the hospitality industry.
  • Tourism and Hotel Statistics: how to employ and use statistical studies in hotels.
  • Front office management: how to deal with the client from the beginning of booking until departure, and the operations that take place during the period of residence.
  • Internal supervision management: how to take care of everything in rooms and public places for hospitality facilities, and the relationship of this section to the front office.
  • Food and Beverage Management: the importance of this vital section in hotel facilities and how to provide a high level of service to customers.
  • Menus design: identifying the basics and criteria of designing various menus.
  • Hotel facilities needed in the hospitality industry.
  • Human Resources management: its importance as it represents the core of work in hotels, and how to select workers, train them and evaluate their performance.
  • Hotel Marketing: how to increase revenue through good study of different market segments and what customers need.
  • Management of tourist villages: which services you need and its types and how to manage its departments and various jobs.
  • Feasibility study of hotel projects: identify the steps necessary to prepare a feasibility study for a hotel project.
  • Restaurant management: different types and different job opportunities.
  • Hotel Quality Management: the importance of applying quality in all hotel establishments and its various departments in order to satisfy customers and achieve the highest levels of profit.
  • Hotel legislation: organizing hotel activity in hospitality establishments.
  • Foreign languages: to study the first language and second language determined by the student.
